The GoEuro Beer Price Index™ 2014

Our Beer Price Index ranks the cost of a price of beer in 40 countries worldwide.
The results show a large difference in the price across continents and between countries.

London In The Top 5 Most Expensive Cities To Drink A Beer

Warsaw is found to be the cheapest city in the world for a beer, and Oslo is the most expensive, according to the results of the inaugural GoEuro Beer Price Index. Buying a beer in the Norwegian capital will set you back an average of £2.87, a cost significantly higher than in Zurich (£2.46) and Tokyo (£2.45) in second and third place respectively.

This study was made based on the cost of a 33cl bottle in a regular discount store, with several worldwide brands and a major local brand. All prices were converted to Euro based on the June 1st Bloomberg exchange.
