Buses depart every hour or so and make stops in London at Stratford, Bow, Mile End, Aldgate, and the Embankment before terminating at Victoria Coach Station. Some services require a change of coach at Stanstead Airport.

Buses from Cambridge to London depart from Parkside in the city centre, and not the main bus station on Drummer Street. Located on the top end of Parker's Piece Park, it's open 24 hours a day with the ticket office open for service from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. Buses also and also call at Trumpington Park and Ride in Cambridge. Passengers can reach Parkside via the City Bus Network which offers a night bus on Friday's and Saturdays. Most of the city's buses run to and from the main Drummer Street Bus Station not far from the National Express stop, or from Emmanuel Street which runs along the north-west side of Parker's Piece Park.
