Taking the Bus from Malaga

Malaga bus station is next to Maria Zambrano train station on Paseo de los Tilos in the west-central part of the city. Public transport in Malaga is frequent and cheap. The bus terminal is served by the numbers 4, 19 and 24 buses. Buses run from the early morning until the late eveing. and there are three fairly regular night bus services. The bus station is also easily reachable by taxi, though allow extra time for traffic during rush hour.

Getting into Seville by Bus

The capital of Andalusia, Seville has a rich history dating back to the Romans. A popular city for tourists, it boasts three UNESCO heritage sites; the Cathedral, the Alcázar palace and the Archive of the Indies, as well as one of the largest Old Towns in Europe. Visitors taking one of the buses from Malaga to Seville arrive at Plaza de Armas Bus Station on Avenida Cristo de la Expiracion in the old town. From here, the numbers 6 and 43 public buses are regular and inexpensive, running during the day until the late evening. Night buses are limited in Seville, and only run until 2:00 a.m. There is a taxi rank at Plaza de Armas station, and though more expensive than the buses, it is still a relatively cheap option.
