The airport is the third busiest in the UK with three terminals; however, it is also well serviced with transport links, including its own train station. Trains between Manchester Airport and the city’s central Manchester Piccadilly train station run approximately every ten minutes throughout the day; the swift journey takes just 15-20 minutes, with a reduced service operating throughout the night. A daytime Metrolink tram, as well as taxi and bus services, also run to and from the airport.

Flying into Paris

Featuring the magnificent Eiffel Tower, romantic river boats and cosy bistros, Paris is renowned as the ‘City of Love’, but that’s not all France’s capital has to offer. The home of the Mona Lisa, the Louvre Art Gallery, plus the magnificent Arc de Triomphe, the Notre Dame Cathedral and not forgetting Disneyland Paris, all prove there are many sides to this city. Paris’ main international airport is Charles de Gaulle, located approximately 23km north-east of the city centre. The airport provides a number of transport links, including train, bus, car hire and taxi services. Trains depart from terminals one and two and take approximately 25 minutes to reach the city’s first stop (the Gare du Nord), running between 05:00 and 24:00
