Taking the Train from London

Trains to Norwich depart from London Liverpool Street, one of London's main terminuses which serves the East Anglia and Hertfordshire regions. London Liverpool Street can be reached from central London via the underground along the Circle, Central, Hammersmith & City and District lines. The underground runs until 1.30 a.m. A number of day and night buses serve both ends of the station whilst taxis can be found at the rear end of the station, by Sun Street Passage.

Getting into Norwich by Train

Norwich is the largest and arguably the finest city in East Anglia. The city is dominated by its impressive hilltop castle keep and as well as its beautiful cathedral. Trains for London arrive at Norwich Station which is found to the east of the town centre close to the Riverside Area. Visitors can take the fifteen-minute walk to the town centre or catch a number of buses from the stop directly outside the station. Most bus services stop around 11:30 p.m. although the 25 service from the station to the University runs throughout the night. Outside the station is a taxi rank where those arriving late at night can find a taxi to continue their journey.
