Train travel from Leeds is approximately 45 minutes and from York, 25 minutes. Much of central Knaresborough can be reached on foot from the train station. Bus services depart close by from the High Street to outerlying parts of the town,to Harrogate and to surrounding villages.
Those arriving in Knaresborough by bus will arrive at Knaresborough Bus Station, located on the High Street in the town centre. Those arriving from London will need to take a National Express coach to Harrogate and change for a local bus service to Knaresborough. Local buses are operated by Harrogate Coach Travel, Connexions Buses and Harrogate & District travel.
