Trains

Bahn are the main provider of rail services between the London area and city of Munich with trains leaving London St Pancras station twice a day - once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Travel time varies depending on which connections you're forced to make, with trains usually stopping in Bruxelles-Midi Aachen HBF, Duren, Cologne and Frankfurt. Connections between stations are usually less than hour and total travel time often exceeds ten hours, on some occasions reaching longer than fifteen hours.

Plane

Easyjet provide the cheapest and quickest route from London locations to Munich by air, with a minimum of two flights departing from London on most days - usually one at each airport (typically Gatwick and Stansted). British Airways are a little more expensive but fly direct, allowing passengers to touch down in Munich after five hours of travel time. Air Berlin offer flights for those wishing to depart from Heathrow and London City airports.

Buses

Eurolines are the sole provider of a direct coach service to Munich offering a bus that leaves at 2:30 p.m. and arrives in this German city almost twenty-four hours later.
