Buses from London to Paris

Buses from London to Paris are frequent, with both Megabus and National Express offering services. Megabus offer two London Paris journeys a day, once in the morning and again in the evening, whilst National Express provide six services a day over the midday period. Both providers leave from Victoria Coach Station in Central London, with a journey time of between 7 and 9 hours depending on the time of departure.

Trains from London to Paris

Eurostar trains leave from St Pancras International station around 20 times a day, at intervals of roughly 45 minutes. The direct, high-speed trains terminate at Paris Gard du Nord station, with the journey taking just under 2.5 hours. The Eurostar travels via the Channel Tunnel and provides a convenient option, not just because it is the quickest one, but also because it departs and arrives in the city centres of London and Paris respectively. St Pancras International is just a short walk from Euston Station and only a few tube stops from the majority of major London train terminals. Trains on the Eurostar route generally run multiple times each hour. Passengers must be at the departure station half an hour before in order to check in.

Direct flights to Paris from London take under 1.5 hours to complete. There are numerous departures per day from all of London's main airports, including Gatwick, Luton and London City airports. City Jet, easyJet and British Airways are among just some of the airlines operating flights along the London Paris route with the earliest departures usually leaving around the early morning hours well into the evening.
