This little town in the north of Italy has a unique way of celebrating Carnival, turning the whole village into a battelfield of fighting. The ‘battle of the oranges’ involves thousands of people divided into on-the-ground teams that throw oranges at the people on the floats. Make sure you’re there between the 6th and 9th of February to be a part of the action and don’t forget your oranges!
