A stone's throw from the Millennium Stadium, the central hub of transport is Cardiff Central. Located on Wood Street, right in the heart of the city, the bus terminal and railway station make for an important interchange point for bus and train services. Those travelling on to Cardiff Airport can change here for regular direct bus services.
The capital of Wales since 1955, Cardiff is an increasingly popular destination just a couple of hours from London. A burgeoning centre of commerce and culture, the city pulls over 14 million visitors each year with its range of restaurants, entertainment and shopping.
