What do I need to know about travelling on National Express buses?

    No, one child under 3 years old may travel for free when accompanied by a paying passenger 16+ years old. Any additional children under the age of 16 must purchase a child's ticket. Buses from Bristol to London

Both National Express and Megabus offer bus services from Bristol to London. National Express have 23 services per day, starting at around 3:50 a.m. There are frequent services in the morning, then between 10:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. they run at approximately one per hour, at 30 minutes past the hour. The journey with National Express leaves from Bristol Coach Station and arrives at London Victoria Coach Station. The fastest journey takes around 2.5 hours, whereas the longest takes nearly 4 hours to complete. Megabus also offer a bus service from Bristol to London leaving from Colston Hall in Bristol's city centre and terminating at London Victoria. Megabus has twelve services per day, starting at approximately 4:20 a.m. and ending with the 7:10 p.m. service. The longest journey takes just over 3.5 hours, and the shortest is nearly 3 hours.

Trains from Bristol to London

First Great Western operates trains between Bristol Temple Meads or Bristol Parkway and London Paddington.
