Buses from London to Liverpool

Buses depart London Liverpool Street Station each day approximately every 90 minutes. These terminate at Liverpool Coach Station after a journey of between 5.5 and 7 hours. The majority of services offered by National Express are direct coaches between the two locations, however, a small number require a change to be made at Birmingham Coach Station. The first coach departs each morning with service continuing until the late evening each day.

Trains from London to Liverpool

One train per hour departs London Euston for Liverpool Lime Street Station. Operated by Virgin Trains these services require a total journey time of just over 2 hours. This provider operates a number of journeys scheduled to depart early each morning and return late in the evening. The first train departs in the mid-morning and journeys continue on an hourly basis until the late evening.

Flights from London to Liverpool

Plane journeys between London Heathrow and Manchester Ringway International Airport, which lies just over 50 kilometres from Liverpool, are provided by British Airways and depart at a rate of around five flights each day. The first journey departs in the morning and flights continue into the early evening each day. The journey takes approximately 1 hour to complete.
