    Renfe/SNCF offers Essential and Flexi fares.


    No, children under 4 years old do not need a ticket on Renfe/SNCF trains if the child sits on an adult's lap. Children under 14 years old receive a 40% discount on Flexi or Essential fares when travelling with an adult. Standard cancellation conditions apply to these discounted child fares.
